Walking in the historic center
The most evocative part of Peschici is certainly the historic center, a labyrinth of alleys to be discovered.
White houses, craft shops, spectacular sea views, box offices where you can try typical local products: this is Peschici!
Don’t miss a visit to Castle and the Torture Museum.
The entrance to these attractions is located on one of the most panoramic squares of the entire Gargano.
In the historic center of Peschici there are artisan workshops and artists’ workshops.
Stop to look at the unique pieces asking for information on the particular workmanship of the very kind craftsmen.
Many of these objects exude history.
We suggest you to taste the typical products: taralli, stuffed wafers, caciocavalli, the “Limolivo” or the “Veleno del Gargano”.
Don’t miss the most characteristic ice cream shop in Peschici, By “Michel”.
You can taste “Gargano” tastes, like the ice cream with podolico caciocavallo !!
– Watch the Sunset on a Trabucco in Peschici
Peschici is famous for having both sunrise and sunset over the sea.
If you are a bit lazy for the sunrises, you can enjoy the sunset over the sea, perhaps seen from one of the trabucchi of Peschici.
In recent years, the trabucchi of Peschici have been transformed into special locations where you can have an aperitif or dine.
Please, book well in advance!
– Beaches of Peschici
The beaches of Peschici are completely sandy, with shallow water.
Among our favorites and not to be missed we suggest these:
Baia Jalillo has several lidos in a beautiful sandy beach with shallow water.
Place where you can enjoy a beautiful sea and make a beautiful landscape being able to admire the panorama of Peschici with its white houses.
The beach is very suggestive, due to the presence of some majestic stacks, which can be visited by walking in the opposite direction of Peschici.
The beach is accessible for people with disabilities.
After having parked the car, you go down a flight of steps to find yourself on a dark sand beach nestled between the cliffs. Simply marvellous.
Much of the beach is free.
The road to reach the car park is a bit narrow and the steps a bit steep, but the view of the beach will amply repay the effort.
There is a panoramic path that connects Zaiana beach to Mannacora beach.
It is a beach with shallow water, full of good quality bathing establishments and a good portion of free beach. Definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful beach with fine sand, surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, not very crowded, a few kilometers from the center of Peschici.
Well equipped, for those who wish there is a bar and a restaurant.
Nearby there is a car park available. The road to access the beach is a bit steep.
The panorama up to the trabucco where you can also see the Zaiana beach is recommended.

Peschici is completely transformed in the summer (July and August) and the many cafes in the historic center come to life, with live concerts, theme nights, and events of all kinds.
